Club Animals Mini-Marathon
According to the Club Animals site, club animals is a culture of secret mascots in New York City. Last Saturday they got together for a min-marathon at Union Square.

Canadian Inuit Throatsingers
Took this shot last week at the NYC International Polar Weekend at the American Museum of Natural History. The performers are Inuit sisters from Ottawa, Canada. According to the program notes, throatsinging is a unique type of vocalization whereby usually two people face each other and throatsing songs that imitate sounds found in nature and sounds of tools, such as: seagulls, geese, the wind, running water, and the saw.

Chinese New Year Parade
The weather was fantastic and the crowds were huge, despite it being Super Bowl Sunday
