We interupt Alaska for... Dave White!

Dave hosted a standing room only event at Borders in Wayne, NJ. Not only did he entertain the crowd with his reading and trivia contest, he also sold out all the copies of his book that Borders had on hand. And there were still folks looking to buy more. Not bad for a first book.

When One Man Dies introduces the reader to Jackson Donne, a New Jersey cop turned PI.

Dave seemed to have a never-ending line of folks wanting to get their books signed. Even when the books ran out, people stayed in line for a chance to chat with Dave.

Pat Lambe, fellow mystery writer, was in attendance.

View from an Alaskan railroad car

These guys were dropping off their wives/girlfriends. In the winter (and perhaps at other times), the train between Anchorage and Fairbanks stops to pick up locals along the way.
