I just ran across this site. The photography is exceptional, notwithstanding you put a shot of me in it :-) Who are you, and what kind of equipment do you use for such clear shots? Thanks!

Hey Shane,
Glad you like it. Hope you don't mind my including one of the shots of you. Jim had a couple of folks taking pictures at this event. I thought he did a great job. I usually identify everyone in my pictures and include a link to their site. But since I took so many pictures at ThrillerFest, I didn't have a chance to do this when I first posted them. I'll have to add that to my to do list.
I take a lot of book-related photos. Probably about 3/4 of the shots I post are of book events. It helps to be in NYC where there are a lot of events. As you'll no doubt notice, the vast majority of the book events I cover are mystery/suspense/thriller genre.

Oops, forgot to mention. I use a Canon 20D for all my shots. Its a digital SLR camera. I have a few lenses I use on a regular basis and I occasionally rent a high-end lens for conventions and other special events. Makes shooting without flash possible under some challenging conditions.
