Elizabeth Kostova, author of The Historian
The Historian has been getting a lot of buzz lately. Its a retelling of the Dracula story and there are three separate story lines - 1930, 1950, and 1972. I haven't had a chance to read it myself yet, but it sounds intriguing.

I am sorry I didn't get to this signing. I am currently reading The Historian. It is a very good read so far. (I am on age 280.) Lots of historical details and fascinating vampire lore. Well done, if a bit dry at times.

Great photos! You do a great job of putting a 'face' to various events that many of us can't attend.
There's certainly been a lot of hype about this book. It will be interesting to see if it can live up to all of that.
