I found some baby geese & was wondering why the mother left them & also what do you feed baby geese & how to care for them.

Thanks

I love Canadian's, but in my area they are feeding them hormones to control their population, I want to know if this is legal, I havent see a canadian geese's baby in the last two years. This is sad.

Please someone I need your help. Earlier today I found 2 baby Canadian geese cornered under my porch by my dog. I retrieved them and they were not harmed. They seem to be very healthy and are quite active. I dont want to harm them and have contacted the local Environmental Conservation Department and no one has gotten back to me.These are not tiny babies either. They stand about a foot tall and still have their yellow feathers so they have not molted yet. What should I do to help without hurting them. I have put them on a near by pond hoping that that is where they came from but within the hour they are right back in my yeard...PLEASE HELP

the only way to tell a male from female canandian goose is to see which of the adult geese are bigger. of course the famle is smaller than male. i don't think you can tell until after their maturity date. Good luck.
